Yuriko Yoshitaka
Yuriko Yoshitaka (born July 22, 1988) is a Japanese actress known for her work in both film and television. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she has maintained a consistent career in the Japanese entertainment industry since the mid-2000s.
Career
Yoshitaka made her film debut in the 2005 production Noriko's Dinner Table. She gained wider recognition for her performance in the 2008 film Snakes and Earrings (Hebi ni Piasu), which earned her the Rookie of the Year award at the 32nd Japan Academy Prize and the Best Newcomer award at the 51st Blue Ribbon Awards in 2009.
Throughout her career, she has appeared in a variety of film genres, including GANTZ (2011), A Story of Yonosuke (2013), and Your Eyes Tell (2020). In television, she has taken on lead roles in several high-profile dramas, including the NHK serial Hanako and Anne (2014) and the historical drama Hikaru Kimi e (2024), where she portrayed the author Shikibu Murasaki.
