You're All Surrounded
You're All Surrounded (Korean: 너희들은 포위됐다) is a South Korean police procedural television series that aired on SBS from May 7 to July 17, 2014. The series consists of 20 episodes and was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot.
Plot
The story follows four rookie detectives in their twenties who begin their careers at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul. The group includes Eun Dae-koo (Lee Seung-gi), Eo Soo-sun (Go Ara), Park Tae-il (Ahn Jae-hyeon), and Ji Kook (Park Jeong-min). Upon their arrival, they are placed under the supervision of Seo Pan-seok (Cha Seung-won), the Chief Investigator of the third team. The narrative centers on the professional and personal development of these rookies, while Eun Dae-koo harbors a long-standing personal connection to Seo Pan-seok dating back 11 years.
Production
The production began with a script reading in mid-March 2014 at the SBS Studio in Tanhyun, Ilsan. Principal photography commenced in mid-March 2014 in the cities of Pohang and Gyeongju, where scenes depicting the characters' past were filmed with teenage actors. The first scenes featuring the adult cast were shot in Apgujong, Seoul, in late March 2014.
During production, actor Lee Seung-gi sustained a corneal injury on June 9, 2014, after being struck in the eye by a prop knife. This incident caused a delay in the broadcast schedule; episode 10, originally slated for June 11, was postponed to June 12, with a special broadcast airing in its place.
