Your House Helper

Your House Helper (Korean: 당신의 하우스헬퍼; RR: Dangshinui Hawooseuhelpeo) is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 from July 4 to August 29, 2018. The drama, which consists of 32 episodes, was directed by Jeon Woo-Sung and written by Kim Ji-Sun. It is based on the webcomic series of the same name by Seung Jung-Yeon, which was first published on Ktoon.com starting March 14, 2014.

Plot

The series follows Kim Ji-Woon (played by Ha Seok-Jin), a man from a privileged background whose parents are a lawmaker and a doctor. After leaving a corporate career and distancing himself from his family, he begins working as a professional housekeeper. Beyond performing cleaning tasks, Ji-Woon listens to the personal struggles of his clients and offers advice to help them navigate their lives.

Production

The first script reading for the series was held on May 21, 2018, at the KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The production team released a group poster along with six character posters to promote the show. The series occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot on KBS2, following the conclusion of Suits and preceding The Ghost Detective.

The broadcast schedule experienced a minor adjustment during its run; the final two episodes (31 and 32) were originally slated for August 23, 2018, but were rescheduled to August 29, 2018, due to the coverage of the 18th Asian Games.
