You Are My Destiny (Korean: 너는 내 운명) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the KBS network from May 5, 2008, to January 9, 2009. The series, directed by Kim Myung-Wook and written by Moon Eun-Ah, consists of 178 episodes and was broadcast in the daily drama time slot at 20:25.
Plot
The story follows Jang Sae-Byeok (played by Lim Yoon-A), a cheerful and optimistic young woman who seeks a new purpose in life after receiving an eye cornea transplant. In an effort to express her gratitude, she attempts to contact the family of the donor, a girl named Na-Young. Upon meeting the family, she discovers they are unaware of the circumstances surrounding their daughter's death. As the narrative progresses, Sae-Byeok develops a close bond with the family, who eventually embrace her as their own daughter.

Production

Reception
The series was recognized at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards, where Lim Yoon-A received the Female Newcomer Award. Additionally, actors Lee Pil-Mo and Kim Jeong-Nan were honored with the Daily Drama Excellence Award.
