Yoo Ji-Tae
Yoo Ji-Tae (born April 13, 1976) is a prominent South Korean actor, director, and model. Born in Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, he pursued higher education in film and theater at Dankook University and Chung-Ang University. Standing 188 cm tall with an AB blood type, Yoo established himself as a versatile figure in Korean cinema through major acting roles and directorial projects.

Acting Career
Yoo began his career in the late 1990s, appearing in films such as Bye June (1998) and Attack the Gas Station! (1999). He gained widespread international recognition for playing the antagonist Lee Woo-Jin in Park Chan-wook's acclaimed thriller Oldboy (2003). His extensive filmography includes roles in One Fine Spring Day (2001), Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005), Midnight F.M. (2010), The Swindlers (2017), and Money (2019).
In addition to his film work, Yoo has starred in numerous television drama series. Notable television credits include Healer (2014–2015), The Good Wife (2016), Mad Dog (2017), Different Dreams (2019), and When My Love Blooms (2020). He gained further global visibility for his portrayal of the Professor in the Netflix series Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area (2022) and as Jo Heon in the Disney+ series Vigilante (2023).
Directorial Work
Alongside acting, Yoo has directed short and feature-length films. His directorial credits include Out of My Intention (2008) and the feature film Mai Ratima (2012).
Personal Life
Yoo Ji-Tae married actress Kim Hyo-Jin on December 2, 2011. The couple first met while working as models for a clothing company in 2003 and began dating in early 2007.
