Plot

The story follows Oh Soo-Kyung (Lee Yo-Won), a reporter who views her older brother, Oh Sung-Ho (Jeong Man-Sik), and younger sister, Oh Joo-Mi (Esom), as personal burdens. The siblings' lives are disrupted by the sudden appearance of a young boy named Oh Nak (Jung Joon-Won), who is revealed to be their youngest sibling.

The film was directed by Ma Dae-Yoon, with a screenplay written by Jung Mi-Jin and Yoon Pil-Joon. Principal photography commenced on May 30, 2016, and concluded on July 31, 2016. During its development phase, the project was known by the working title Makdoongi, which translates to "The Youngest." Yes, Family holds the distinction of being the first Korean film to be distributed by the Walt Disney Company Korea.
