Yeoreuma Butakhae
Yeoreuma Butakhae (Korean: 여름아 부탁해), also known by its English title Home for Summer, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the KBS1 network. The series ran for 128 episodes from April 29 to October 25, 2019, occupying the Monday through Friday 20:30 time slot.
Plot
The story focuses on Wang Geum-Hee (played by Lee Young-Eun), who has been married to plastic surgeon Han Joon-Ho (Kim Sa-Kwon) for a decade. While Geum-Hee supported her husband throughout his career development, their marriage faces challenges when Joon-Ho encounters a divorcee named Sang-Mi (Lee Chae-Young), who actively pursues him. Parallel to this, the narrative follows Sang-Mi's younger brother, Joo Sang-Won (Yoon Sun-Woo), a chef whose past romantic heartbreak has led him to adopt a cold exterior, though he retains a compassionate nature.
Production
The series was directed by Sung Joon-Hae and written by Koo Ji-Won. It followed the conclusion of the drama It's My Life and was succeeded by Unasked Family on October 28, 2019.
