Yasushi Fukuda

Yasushi Fukuda (福田靖) is a Japanese screenwriter born in 1962 in Japan. He has written extensively for both Japanese television dramas and feature films, contributing to numerous high-profile productions across major networks and studios.

Career and Notable Works

Fukuda's career spans multiple decades, encompassing work on popular television series, film adaptations, and special broadcasts. His notable contributions to cinema include writing for film projects such as Waterboys (2001), the Umizaru film franchise, Suspect X (2008), the film adaptations of the 20th Century Boys trilogy (2008–2009), Hero (2007, 2015), and Silent Parade (2022).

In television, Fukuda has authored scripts for several prominent drama series and television movies. His television writing credits feature works such as Emergency Room 24 Hours, Galileo (2007), Change (2008), the NHK taiga drama Ryoma-den (2010), the serial Manpuku (2018–2019), and the medical drama series DOCTORS: The Ultimate Surgeon.
