Yasuhiro Yoshida (Filmmaker)

Yasuhiro Yoshida (Japanese: 吉田康弘) is a Japanese film director and screenwriter known for his work across both feature films and television drama series.

Directing Career

Yoshida has directed multiple feature films and television productions. His filmography as a director includes theatrical releases such as Kitokito! (2007), Leaving on the 15th Spring (2013), Enoshima Prism (2013), The Summer of Whales (2014), Birthday Card (2016), and Our Departures (2018). In television, he has directed episodes or series for networks such as WOWOW and TVK, including Bittare!!! (2015), Plage (2017), Poison Daughter, Holy Mother (2019), and OZU: Ozu Yasujiro ga Kaita Monogatari (2023). He also directed the television movie Umoreru in 2014.
