Career

Yang began his acting career in the mid-2000s, with early appearances in productions such as Song of the Prince (2005–2006) and Yeon Gae So Mun (2006–2007). Over the following two decades, he established himself as a prolific character actor in the South Korean entertainment industry.

He gained recognition for his performance as Hong Sang-Pil in the 2019 box-office hit Extreme Job. His filmography also includes roles in The Spy Gone North (2018), Champion (2018), and Dream (2023). In television, he has appeared in numerous popular drama series, including My Dearest (2023), My Sweet Mobster (2024), and The Fiery Priest 2 (2024).
