Yami no Bansosha
Yami no Bansosha (Japanese: 闇の伴走者), also known by its English title Partner in Darkness, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on the WOWOW network in 2015. The series consists of five episodes and was directed by Takahiro Miki, with a screenplay by Dai Sato and Kumiko Aso, based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Takashi Nagasaki.

Plot
The story begins one year after the death of a renowned manga artist, Fumiya Ajima. Following his passing, 50 previously unknown sketches are discovered. These sketches appear to be the work of Ajima, but they contain disturbing details related to a series of missing women cases that occurred 35 years prior. Ajima's widow, Yoshiko, requests an investigation into the origin of these drawings. Yuki Mizuno, a former police officer, is tasked with the investigation and collaborates with Shinji Daigo, an expert in the manga industry, to uncover the truth behind the sketches.

Production
The series was broadcast on WOWOW from April 11 to May 9, 2015, in the Saturday 22:00 time slot. A sequel, Partner in Darkness 2 (Yami no Bansosha: Henshucho no Joken), was released in 2018.
