X Game (2010 Film)
X Game (Japanese: タナトス) is a 2010 Japanese horror film directed by Yohei Fukuda. The screenplay was written by Mari Asato, Yoichi Minamikawa, and Shinji Takehara, based on the novel by Yusuke Yamada. The film, which falls into the "death game" subgenre of horror, was released in Japan on September 18, 2010, and distributed by Jolly Roger.

Plot
The story follows a group of young individuals who find themselves trapped in a classroom. They are forced by an unseen antagonist to participate in a series of lethal challenges known as the "X Game." The tasks involve various sadistic scenarios, including "Thumbtack on a chair," "Pencil Guillotine," "Clip," "School Lunch," "Slap," and the "Death Penalty." The narrative focuses on their struggle to survive these increasingly dangerous trials.
