Woolbo (2016 Film)

Woolbo (Korean: 울보) is a South Korean drama film released in 2016. The film was written and directed by Rhee Jin-Woo and produced by Song Ha-Ryung. It explores the lives of high school students navigating social dynamics and personal growth.

Plot

The story centers on Yi-Sub, a shy and introverted transfer student. Upon joining his new school, he is seated next to Ha-Yoon, a student known for sleeping during class. As Yi-Sub observes her, a connection forms between the two. Their relationship evolves as they begin spending time with Kil-Soo, a local youth who leads a group of neighborhood delinquents.
