Wonderful Days (2014 South Korean TV Series)

Wonderful Days (Korean: 참 좋은 시절; RR: Cham Joheun Shijul) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from February 22 to August 10, 2014. The series consists of 50 episodes and was broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:55.

Plot

The story follows Kang Dong-suk, a man who grew up in poverty but eventually achieved success as a prosecutor. After 14 years, he returns to his hometown, where he encounters his first love, Cha Hae-won. The narrative explores their rekindled romance and the dynamics of his family.

Production

The series was directed by Kim Jin-won with a screenplay written by Lee Kyoung-hee. The first script reading for the production took place on December 28, 2013, at the KBS Annex Building in Seoul, South Korea. The drama occupied the Saturday and Sunday 19:55 time slot on KBS2, following the conclusion of Wang's Family and preceding What Happens to My Family?, which began airing on August 16, 2014.
