Wonderful Days (Korean: 원더풀 데이즈; Revised Romanization: Wondeoppeul Deizeu) is a 2003 South Korean animated science fiction film directed by Kim Moon-saeng. The film is known for its combination of traditional cel animation, 3D computer-generated imagery, and miniature model work.

Plot

The story is set in the year 2140, following a global environmental collapse. The surviving human population is divided between the elite inhabitants of the high-tech, organic city of Ecoban and the refugees living in the surrounding wasteland. Ecoban relies on the energy source Carbonite, which is mined by the refugees, known as 'Diggers', who face harsh conditions and exploitation. The narrative follows Shua, a rebel fighter who seeks to infiltrate Ecoban to uncover its secrets and challenge the city's control, while confronting personal conflicts from his past.

Directed by Kim Moon-saeng, the film was released in South Korea on July 17, 2003. It features a runtime of 86 minutes. The production utilized a hybrid animation style, integrating various visual techniques to depict the post-apocalyptic setting of the film.
