Wolgannamchin (Hangul: 월간남친), also known as Boyfriend on Demand, is a South Korean romantic comedy television series broadcast on Netflix. Directed by Kim Jung-Sik and written by Namkoong Do-Young, the series consists of 10 episodes and premiered on March 6, 2026.

Plot Overview

The story follows Seo Mi-Rae, portrayed by Kim Ji-Soo, who works as a webtoon producer (PD). Accustomed to a busy lifestyle without a romantic partner, her routine changes when she obtains a virtual reality device called the Monthly Issue Boyfriend. Through this device, she enters a virtual world and experiences romance with seemingly flawless virtual men, awakening her dormant romantic feelings.

Meanwhile, Seo Mi-Rae navigates a complicated workplace dynamic with Park Kyeong-Nam, played by Seo In-Guk. Also working as a webtoon PD, Kyeong-Nam is competent yet perceived as indifferent and secretive, serving as her primary workplace rival.
