Wish (2009 Film)

Wish (Korean: 바람; RR: Baram) is a 2009 South Korean drama film directed and written by Lee Seong-Han. The film is set in Busan and follows the life of a high school student as he navigates the social pressures and experiences associated with joining a gang.

Production and Release

The film had its world premiere on October 10, 2009, at the 14th Pusan International Film Festival, where it was screened as part of the Korean Cinema Today - Vision section. It received a general theatrical release in South Korea on November 26, 2009. The production features cinematography by Kim Yeong-Chol and was produced by Shin Seung-Keun.
