Why Did You Come to My House? (Korean: 우리집에 왜 왔니; RR: Woori jipyeo wae wassni?) is a 2009 South Korean film directed by Hwang Su-a. The film, which blends elements of drama and dark comedy, was released on April 9, 2009, and has a runtime of 107 minutes.

Plot

The narrative centers on two individuals with contrasting lives whose paths unexpectedly collide. Byeong-hee (Park Hee-soon) is a man struggling with severe emotional distress following the sudden death of his wife. Su-kang (Kang Hye-jung) is a socially unconventional woman who harbors a long-standing obsession with her first love, Park Ji-min (Seung-ri), whom she has been stalking for a decade.

In an attempt to get closer to Ji-min's residence, Su-kang breaks into the neighboring house, which belongs to Byeong-hee. Upon entering, she discovers Byeong-hee in the midst of a suicide attempt. She intervenes to save his life, subsequently restraining him within the house. The film follows the development of their unusual relationship as they navigate their respective traumas.
