White Lies (2008 South Korean TV Series)
White Lies (Korean: 하얀 거짓말; RR: Hayeon Geojitmal) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) network. The series premiered on December 1, 2008, and concluded on July 10, 2009, spanning 159 episodes. It was broadcast as a morning drama, succeeding the series Don't Go Away.

Plot Summary
The narrative centers on the life of Kang Hyung-Woo, an autistic man and the son of a wealthy department store chairwoman, Shin Jung-Ok. Hyung-Woo enters into a marriage with a nurse named Seo Eun-Young. While Eun-Young initially enters the union motivated by financial needs and a desire for revenge, her relationship with Hyung-Woo evolves as she helps him navigate the world and express himself more openly.
The plot is further complicated by the presence of Kang Jung-Woo, Hyung-Woo's stepbrother, who was born out of wedlock to Chairman Kang. Jung-Woo shares a complex past with Eun-Young, having previously dated her and fathered a child with her before marrying into a wealthy family. The series explores themes of familial conflict, betrayal, and the consequences of past secrets.
