Whisper (2017 South Korean TV Series)
Whisper (Korean: 귓속말; RR: Gwitsotmal) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from March 27 to May 23, 2017. The series, which falls under the legal thriller genre, focuses on the investigation of systemic corruption within Taebaek, the nation's largest law firm.

Plot
The narrative follows Shin Young-joo, a charismatic detective, and Lee Dong-joon, a righteous judge. Together, they form an unlikely alliance to uncover and dismantle the deep-seated corruption surrounding the powerful law firm Taebaek. The series was directed by Lee Myung-woo and written by Park Kyung-soo.
Production
The drama was originally developed under the working title Jinkyeok (meaning "Advance"). The first script reading for the production took place on January 24, 2017, at the SBS Studio in Tanhyun, Ilsan. Principal photography commenced on February 1, 2017, followed by a traditional gosa ceremony on March 5, 2017, to ensure the success of the production.
Whisper occupied the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on SBS, succeeding the series Defendant. It was subsequently followed by My Sassy Girl. The broadcast schedule experienced a minor adjustment when the 14th episode, originally slated for May 9, 2017, was rescheduled to May 15, 2017, due to the South Korean presidential election.
