Where Stars Land
Where Stars Land (Korean: 여우각시별; RR: Yeowoogakshibyeol) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from October 1 to November 26, 2018. The drama is set within the operational environment of Incheon International Airport, focusing on the lives and professional challenges of its employees.
Production
The series was directed by Shin Woo-Cheol and written by Kang Eun-Kyung. The pair had previously collaborated on the 2013 MBC drama Gu Family Book. The production underwent several title changes during development, transitioning between the working titles Yeowoogakshibyeol (literally "Fox Bride Star") and Incheongonghang Saramdeul (literally "Incheon Airport People") before settling on the former for its final release.
The first script reading occurred on July 28, 2018, at the SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Several high-profile actors, including Hyun-Bin, Park Shin-Hye, Park Bo-Gum, and Bae Suzy, were offered lead roles but declined before the final cast was confirmed.
Broadcast
The series occupied the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on SBS, following the conclusion of Still 17. It was succeeded by The Hymn of Death on November 27, 2018. The broadcast schedule experienced a minor disruption on October 22, 2018, when episodes 13 and 14 were rescheduled to air on Tuesday, October 23, due to a baseball broadcast.
