What Happens to My Family? (Korean: 가족끼리 왜 이래; RR: Gajokkkiri Wae Irae) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from August 16, 2014, to February 15, 2015. The series, which consists of 53 episodes, was broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:55. It follows the daily lives and interpersonal dynamics of a chaotic family.

Plot

The narrative centers on the Cha family, exploring the complexities of their daily lives. A significant subplot involves Moon Tae-Joo (Kim Sang-Kyung), a high-ranking employee at the Daeoh Company who struggles with emotional trauma related to love. His perspective and life begin to shift after he encounters his secretary, Cha Gang-Sim (Kim Hyun-Joo).

Production

The series was directed by Jeon Chang-Geun and written by Kang Eun-Kyung. The first script reading for the production took place in June 2014 at the KBS Annex Building in Seoul, South Korea.
