Welcome 2 Life

Welcome 2 Life (Korean: 웰컴2라이프) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from August 5 to September 24, 2019. The drama, directed by Kim Keun-Hong and Sim So-Yeon and written by Yoo Hee-Gyeong, consists of 32 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Lee Jae-Sang (played by Rain), a highly successful but self-serving lawyer at the prominent JK Law Firm. Following a mysterious car accident, he is transported into a parallel reality. In this alternate world, he serves as a principled prosecutor. The narrative explores his struggle to adapt to this new life, which includes a marriage to Ra Shi-On (Lim Ji-Yeon), a detective from whom he had been estranged for ten years in his original reality.

Production

The series was broadcast on MBC's Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot. It followed the conclusion of Partners for Justice Season 2. The production held its first script reading over two days, from May 17 to May 18, 2019.
