Watcher is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network OCN in 2019. The crime thriller follows the members of an internal affairs investigation team as they work to expose corruption within the police force and uncover the truth behind a tragic event that links their pasts.

Premise

The narrative centers on three individuals whose lives were irrevocably altered by a past incident. Do Chi-gwang, an elite and analytical detective, becomes the chief of an internal affairs team dedicated to rooting out police corruption. He is joined by Kim Young-koon, a police officer with a cold exterior who seeks to understand the truth behind the tragedy he has long tried to suppress, and Han Tae-joo, a former prosecutor turned lawyer who survived a life-threatening encounter related to the same case.
