Watashi no Uchi niwa, Nan nimo Nai

Watashi no Uchi niwa, Nan nimo Nai (Japanese: わたしのウチには、なんにもない。) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NHK in 2016. The series is based on the book by Mai Yururi.

Plot

The story follows the protagonist, Mai Yururi, portrayed by actress Kaho. Driven by a desire to simplify her life, Mai begins a process of discarding her personal belongings, including books, memorabilia, furniture, and clothing. The narrative explores her journey toward minimalism and the reactions of those around her, such as friends who are taken aback by the stark emptiness of her living space.

Production

The drama consists of six episodes and was directed by Yoshifumi Udo, with the screenplay written by Yuuka Arai. It was broadcast on NHK from February 6 to March 12, 2016, in the Saturday 22:30–23:00 time slot.
