Ichinose gained significant international attention for his lead role in the 2023 Netflix series Sanctuary, where he portrayed a struggling sumo wrestler. His career includes recurring roles in the High & Low franchise, where he played the character Kotaro Seki. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various directors and appeared in projects such as Crows Explode (2014), Shinjuku Swan (2015), and the 2024 film Cells at Work.
