Warui Yatsura (2007 TV Series)
Warui Yatsura (Japanese: 松本清張 わるいやつら), often translated as Evil People, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi in 2007. The series is based on the novel of the same name by the acclaimed author Seicho Matsumoto.

Plot
The story centers on Toyomi Terajima, portrayed by Ryoko Yonekura, a nurse who initially views her profession as a stable, lifelong career path. While she harbors quiet ambitions of working abroad and dedicates time to studying English, her life remains largely unremarkable until she encounters Dr. Toya Shinichi, played by Takaya Kamikawa. Dr. Toya serves as the director of the hospital where the narrative unfolds. Their meeting, triggered by a medical emergency involving a heart attack patient, marks the beginning of a complex and fateful relationship.
Production
The series was directed by Hidetomo Matsuda and Meiji Fujita, with the screenplay adapted by Yumiko Kamiyama. It consisted of eight episodes and was broadcast from January 19 to March 9, 2007, in the 21:00–21:54 time slot.
