Wanted (2016 South Korean Television Series)
Wanted (Korean: 원티드; RR: Wontideu) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from June 22 to August 18, 2016. The thriller drama was directed by Park Yong-soon and written by Han Ji-wan. The series follows a top actress who is forced to participate in a live reality show to fulfill a kidnapper's demands after her son is abducted.
Production
The series was produced by SBS. The first script reading for the cast took place on May 21, 2016, at the SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The lead roles were initially offered to Kim Hyun-joo and Jin Goo, both of whom declined. The drama occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot, succeeding Entertainer and preceding Don't Dare to Dream.
The broadcast schedule for the final two episodes was adjusted due to the 2016 Summer Olympics. Episodes 15 and 16, originally scheduled for August 10 and 11, were rescheduled to air on August 17 and 18, 2016.
