Plot Summary
The narrative follows Tetsuya Matsumoto, an elementary school teacher navigating a complex relationship with his girlfriend, Akemi Iwamura, who struggles with emotional instability linked to her childhood. Simultaneously, Tetsuya encounters a student named Takeru who suffers from self-harming behavior, a situation exacerbated by his father's alcoholism. The film also examines the life of Akemi's mother, Yoko, who is living with Alzheimer's disease and experiences growing distrust toward her husband, Sadao.
