Volcano High (2001 Film)
Volcano High (Korean: 화산고; RR: Hwasango) is a 2001 South Korean action-fantasy film directed by Kim Tae-gyun. The film is known for its stylized depiction of a high school where students and faculty possess supernatural martial arts abilities, often resulting in gravity-defying combat and telekinetic phenomena.

Plot
The story is set at Volcano High, an institution where martial arts expertise is common among the student body. The school's history is defined by the legend of a "Secret Manuscript," a document rumored to grant immense power to whoever possesses it. This manuscript was previously used by the principal, Jang Oh-ja, to restore order after years of internal conflict. As the film begins, a new power struggle emerges among various factions within the school, including the ambitious assistant principal and rival student leaders, all seeking to claim the manuscript.
Kim Kyung-soo, a transfer student with immense but uncontrollable telekinetic and martial arts potential, arrives at the school. Having been expelled from eight previous institutions due to his inability to manage his powers, he hopes to complete his education at Volcano High without further incident. However, his arrival disrupts the school's fragile balance, and he soon finds himself at the center of the escalating conflict.
