It serves as the third installment in the Voice franchise, which centers on the operations of the "Golden Time Team," a specialized police unit tasked with responding to emergency calls during the critical window immediately following a crime.

The series was directed by Nam Ki-Hoon and written by Ma Jin-Won. The first script reading for the production took place in February 2019 in Sangam-dong, Seoul. Voice 3 premiered on May 11, 2019, and concluded its 16-episode run on June 30, 2019. It occupied the Saturday and Sunday 22:20 time slot on OCN, succeeding the series Kill It and preceding Watcher.
Plot
The narrative follows Detective Do Kang-Woo (Lee Jin-Uk), who travels to Japan to uncover truths about his past while struggling to manage his volatile, aggressive impulses. After being found abandoned in a forest with a mysterious wrist tattoo, he suffers from memory loss regarding the preceding seven days. Meanwhile, Kang Kwon-Joo (Lee Ha-Na) continues to lead the Golden Time Team. She faces personal challenges related to her acute hearing while investigating a series of murders linked to an online platform, all while the serial killer Bang Je-Soo (Kwon Yool) remains a looming threat.
