Voice (2021 South Korean Film)
Voice (Korean: 보이스) is a 2021 South Korean crime action film directed by Kim Sun and Kim Gok. The film explores the illicit world of voice phishing, a pervasive form of telecommunications fraud.
Plot
The narrative follows Seo-Joon, played by Byun Yo-Han, who becomes a victim of a sophisticated voice phishing scheme. After losing his life savings and seeing his family suffer the consequences, he embarks on a mission to infiltrate the criminal organization responsible. His investigation leads him to China, where he encounters Pro Kwak, portrayed by Kim Moo-Yul, a key planner within the phishing syndicate.
Production
The film was produced by Park Ja-Myung and distributed by CJ Entertainment. Principal photography for the project commenced on February 10, 2020, and concluded on May 12, 2020. The film features a screenplay written by Bae Young-Ik and cinematography by Lee Sun-Young.
