Vanishing Twin (2000 Film)

Vanishing Twin (Korean: 배니싱 트윈) is a South Korean thriller film released on September 9, 2000. The film was directed by Yun Tae-Yong, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Do-soo Song. The production was managed by Jae-soon Lee.

Plot

The story follows Yu-jin, who eagerly anticipates the return of her sister, Seung-jin, and her brother-in-law, Jin-ho. Upon his arrival, Jin-ho informs Yu-jin that Seung-jin has died by suicide. Following this revelation, Jin-ho attempts to seduce the grieving Yu-jin, which leads to complications in her own marriage as her husband becomes suspicious of an affair. Despite the claims of her sister's death, Yu-jin remains skeptical and begins an investigation, eventually encountering a mysterious man who shares the same email identifier as her sister.
