Vampire Detective

Vampire Detective (Korean: 뱀파이어 탐정) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network OCN in 2016. The series, directed by Kim Ga-Ram and written by Yoo Young-Seon, combines elements of the mystery and supernatural genres. It premiered on March 27, 2016, and concluded on June 12, 2016, consisting of 12 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Yoon San, a private investigator who unexpectedly transforms into a vampire. While continuing to operate his detective agency and solve various cases for his clients, he simultaneously struggles to uncover the truth behind his own condition and the mysteries surrounding his past.

Production

The series was broadcast on OCN in the Sunday 23:00 time slot. It followed the conclusion of Local Hero and was succeeded by Squad 38 in June 2016. The production process included a first script reading held in December 2015.
