Vampire Cop Ricky (2006 Film)

Vampire Cop Ricky (Korean: 흡혈형사 나도열; RR: Heubhyeol hyeongsa na do-yeol) is a 2006 South Korean action-comedy film directed by Lee Si-Myung. The film follows the story of a detective who undergoes a supernatural transformation after an unusual incident.

Plot

The narrative begins in Transylvania, where a mosquito bites Dracula. The insect is subsequently transported to Seoul, South Korea. Detective Na Do-yul, a dedicated but hapless officer, becomes the victim of a bite from this vampire-blooded mosquito. As a result, he develops a dual existence: he remains a human during the day but manifests vampire characteristics at night, forcing him to navigate his police duties while managing his new condition.
