Unlock My Boss

Unlock My Boss (Korean: 사장님을 잠금해제; RR: Sajangnimeul Jamgeumhaeje) is a South Korean television series that aired on the ENA network from December 7, 2022, to January 12, 2023. The drama consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 21:00.

The series is based on the webcomic of the same name by Park Sung-Hyun, which was serialized on Naver from April 5, 2020, to April 19, 2021. The television adaptation was directed by Lee Chul-Ha with a screenplay by Kim Hyeong-Min.

Plot

The story follows Kim Sun-Joo (Park Sung-Woong), the founder and CEO of a prominent IT company. After being attacked and left for dead, Kim Sun-Joo finds his consciousness trapped within his smartphone. Meanwhile, Park In-Sung (Chae Jong-Hyeop), a struggling job seeker from a humble background, discovers the device while searching for mushrooms on a mountain. The smartphone offers Park In-Sung a reward of 10 billion won if he performs a series of tasks. Upon accepting, Park In-Sung is tasked with temporarily assuming the role of CEO at the company, with the assistance of the secretary, Jung Se-Yeon (Seo Eun-Su). Together, they work to uncover the mystery behind the attack on Kim Sun-Joo.

Production and Broadcast

Unlock My Boss occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:00 time slot on ENA. It followed the conclusion of Love is for Suckers and was succeeded by Strangers Again on January 18, 2023.
