Unknown Woman (South Korean TV Series)

Unknown Woman (Korean: 이름 없는 여자; RR: Yireum Eotneun Yeoja) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from April 24 to September 15, 2017. The series, directed by Kim Myung-Wook and written by Moon Eun-Ah, consists of 102 episodes and was broadcast in the Monday–Friday 19:50–20:30 time slot.

Plot Synopsis

The narrative centers on the lives of two women, Hong Ji-Won and Son Yeo-Ri. Hong Ji-Won (played by Bae Jong-Ok) rises from an impoverished background in an orphanage to become a successful professional and eventually marries into a wealthy family. Her life takes a turn when she discovers her son is suffering from a disease, leading her to make extreme decisions to protect him. Meanwhile, Son Yeo-Ri (played by Oh Ji-Eun), who was raised by foster parents, faces abandonment and betrayal, eventually finding herself imprisoned while attempting to protect her own child.
