Under Your Bed (2019 Film)

Under Your Bed (Japanese: アンダー・ユア・ベッド) is a Japanese psychological thriller film released on July 19, 2019. Directed by Mari Asato, the film is based on a novel written by Kei Ohishi. The production was distributed by Kadokawa Pictures and has a runtime of 98 minutes.

Plot

The story follows Naoto Mitsui (Kengo Kora), a man who has lived a life of social isolation. During his school years, he was ignored by his peers until Chihiro Sasaki (Kanako Nishikawa) became the first person to acknowledge him by name. Years later, Naoto tracks Chihiro down after an 11-year separation, only to find that she has changed significantly. His desire to reconnect with her evolves into a dangerous obsession, leading him to infiltrate her home and hide beneath her bed.
