Under the Queen's Umbrella (Korean: 슈룹; RR: Shuroop) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from October 15 to December 4, 2022. The drama, directed by Kim Hyeong-sik and written by Park Ba-ra, explores the intense pressures of royal education and palace politics during the Joseon Dynasty.

Plot

The story centers on Queen Im Hwa-ryeong, portrayed by Kim Hye-soo. While expected to maintain the grace and dignity associated with her position, she faces the constant challenge of managing her sons, who are known for being troublemakers. Abandoning traditional royal protocols, the Queen takes an active, hands-on approach to their education, striving to transform them into eligible and capable princes amidst the cutthroat competition of the royal court.
