Unasked Family

Unasked Family (Korean: 꽃길만 걸어요; RR: Ggochgilman Geoleoyo) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the KBS1 network. The series premiered on October 28, 2019, and concluded on April 17, 2020, spanning 123 episodes. It was broadcast in the Monday through Friday 20:30–21:00 time slot.

Plot

The narrative centers on the lives of Kang Yeo-Won (played by Choi Yoon-So) and Bong Chun-Dong (played by Sul Jung-Hwan). Kang Yeo-Won, who once aspired to be a reporter during her university years, finds her life path altered by an unexpected pregnancy. She transitions into the role of a housewife, balancing the demands of managing her family's finances and caring for her in-laws. Her life undergoes a significant shift following an accident involving her husband.

Bong Chun-Dong, who spent his childhood in an orphanage alongside his younger sister, overcame health challenges, including heart disease, with the assistance of Hwang Byung-Rae. Despite successfully passing the bar exam, he works for Hwang Byung-Rae.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Park Ki-Hyun, with the screenplay written by Chae Hye-Young and Na Seung-Hyun. It occupied the KBS1 daily drama time slot, succeeding Home for Summer and preceding Brilliant Heritage, which began its run on April 20, 2020.
