Plot
The narrative centers on Sin, a North Korean defector who, as a child, attempted to escape to South Korea with his family. After being betrayed, his parents are killed, leaving him with a deep-seated hatred for the political systems that failed them. As an adult, Sin joins a group of pirates in Thailand and orchestrates the theft of a U.S. ship carrying nuclear materials that were secretly manufactured in Taiwan.
