Twilight Gangsters (2010 film)
Twilight Gangsters (Korean: 육혈포강도단; RR: Yukhyeolpo Kangdodan), also known by its literal title Pistol Bandit Band, is a 2010 South Korean comedy film directed by Kang Hyo-jin. The film centers on three elderly women who, after having their life savings stolen during a bank robbery, decide to track down the thieves and eventually learn the art of bank robbery themselves.

Plot
Three grandmothers—Jung-Ja (Na Moon-Hee), Young-Hee (Kim Soo-Mi), and Shin-Ja (Kim Hye-Ok)—have spent eight years saving money for a dream vacation to Hawaii. Each woman has faced significant personal hardships: Jung-Ja spent time in prison and was separated from her son, Young-Hee escaped an unhappy marriage, and Shin-Ja is a widow struggling with a son who steals her money. Their plans are derailed when the bank where they are wiring their funds is robbed, and they lose their savings. When the bank offers no assistance, the women take matters into their own hands. They track down one of the robbers, Joon-Suk (Im Chang-Jung), only to discover he has been swindled by his own gang and is penniless. Determined to reach Hawaii, the women force Joon-Suk to teach them how to rob banks.

Production and Marketing
The film was distributed by Lotte Entertainment and released in South Korea on March 18, 2010. It holds a runtime of 107 minutes. As a promotional effort, Twilight Gangsters became the first Korean film to release a dedicated application for the Apple App Store, which was made available to Korean residents in March 2010.
