Twelve is a South Korean fantasy action drama series that premiered in 2025. The series explores a mythological conflict involving twelve zodiac angels who are tasked with protecting humanity from malevolent forces.

Plot

The narrative centers on a long-standing battle between twelve zodiac angels and evil spirits. In the distant past, the angels sacrificed themselves to seal these evil forces within the gate of Hell, establishing a period of peace. However, when the evil entities reawaken, the human world descends into chaos. The story follows the zodiac angels, led by Tae-san—who represents the tiger—as they engage in an epic confrontation against a group of evil beings led by O-gwi.

Production

The series was directed by Kang Dae-kyu and Han Yun-sun, with a screenplay written by Kim Bong-han and Ma Dong-seok. It aired on the KBS2 network and was made available for streaming on Disney+. The drama consists of eight episodes and occupied the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot, debuting on August 23, 2025, and concluding on September 14, 2025.
