Tsutomu Sekine

Tsutomu Sekine (Japanese: 関根勤) is a Japanese comedian, actor, and director born on August 21, 1953. Known for his versatility in the Japanese entertainment industry, Sekine has contributed to various television drama series and cinematic projects throughout his career.

Acting and Directing Career

Sekine has established a diverse portfolio spanning television and film. In television dramas, he portrayed Shinjuro Kaneshiro in the 2014 Nippon Television (NTV) series Senryokugai Sosakan. He was later cast as Munemitsu Yokota in the 2026 TBS drama series Toki Sudeni Osushi!?.

In addition to his acting roles, Sekine expanded his creative scope into filmmaking by directing the 2015 film Buzz | Souon.
