True to Love, also known by its Korean title Bora! Deborah, is a South Korean television series that aired in 2023. The romantic comedy explores the intricacies of romantic relationships through the perspectives of a professional dating coach and a publishing planner.
Plot
The story centers on Yeon Bo-ra (played by Yoo In-na), a successful author and dating coach who writes under the pen name Deborah. While she is widely regarded as an expert on love and is known for her witty, honest advice, her personal life presents a different set of challenges. Her path crosses with Lee Su-hyeok (Yoon Hyun-min), a publishing planner who struggles with the complexities of romantic commitment. Su-hyeok is characterized by his unpredictable nature, oscillating between warmth and emotional detachment. Their professional and personal lives become intertwined, leading to significant changes for both characters.
Supporting the narrative is Han Sang-jin (Joo Sang-wook), the CEO of Jinri Publishing Company. As a close friend and business partner to Su-hyeok, Sang-jin maintains a sophisticated, freewheeling lifestyle, preferring to avoid the depth and complications of serious romantic relationships.

The series was directed by Lee Tae-gon and Seo Min-jung, with a screenplay written by A Kyung. It consists of 14 episodes and was broadcast on the ENA network. The show occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:00 time slot, premiering on April 12, 2023, and concluding on May 25, 2023. It followed the drama Delivery Man and was succeeded by Battle for Happiness.
