Trigger is a South Korean action-thriller television series released on the streaming platform Netflix. The series explores a fictional scenario in which South Korea, a nation with strict gun control laws and historically low rates of firearm-related crime, faces a sudden influx of illegal weapons and a subsequent surge in gun-related incidents.

Plot
The narrative centers on the societal disruption caused by the appearance of illegal firearms from unknown sources. Lee Do (played by Kim Nam-Gil) is a righteous detective and former military sniper who works to track the origin of these weapons and curb the rising violence. His path crosses with Moon Baek (played by Kim Young-Kwang), a central figure in the underground arms trade. While Moon Baek maintains an easygoing facade, he is a calculated strategist who orchestrates his operations with precision. The series follows the conflict between these two men as they navigate the dangerous world of illegal arms trafficking.
