Traces of Love (Korean: 가을로; RR: Gaeulro) is a 2006 South Korean melodrama directed by Kim Dae-Seung. The film explores themes of grief, memory, and the process of healing following a national tragedy.

Plot

The story centers on Choi Hyun-Woo (Yoo Ji-Tae), a successful prosecutor who remains haunted by the death of his wife, Seo Min-Joo (Kim Ji-Soo), a decade earlier. Min-Joo was a victim of a tragic department store collapse. Years after the incident, Hyun-Woo receives Min-Joo's diary from her father. The journal details her plans to visit various scenic locations across South Korea, which she had intended to share with Hyun-Woo during their honeymoon. Driven by a desire to reconnect with his late wife, Hyun-Woo embarks on a journey to visit these locations. During his travels, he encounters a mysterious woman named Yoon Se-Jin (Uhm Ji-Won), and the two eventually continue the journey together.

Directed by Kim Dae-Seung, the film was written by Jang Min-Suk. It was produced by Ahn Dong-Gyu and Choi Jung-Min, with cinematography by Lee Mo-Gae. The film was distributed by Lotte Entertainment and released in South Korea on October 26, 2006, with a total runtime of 108 minutes.
