Touch (2020 South Korean Television Series)

Touch is a South Korean television series that aired on Channel A from January 3 to February 22, 2020. The romantic comedy drama consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast in the Friday and Saturday 23:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Cha Jeong-hyeok (played by Joo Sang-wook), a once-celebrated makeup artist who finds himself unemployed and in debt. His life intersects with Han Soo-yeon (played by Kim Bo-ra), a woman who spent a decade as an idol trainee. After a mysterious incident leads to her dismissal from an audition program, Soo-yeon discovers a new career path in makeup artistry. She eventually begins working as an assistant to Jeong-hyeok, leading to a professional and romantic relationship. The series also features the characters Baek Ji-yoon, a successful actress, and Kang Do-jin, a popular actor.

Touch was directed by Min Yeon-hong and written by Ahn Ho-kyung. It occupied the Friday and Saturday 23:00 time slot on Channel A, following the conclusion of Love Affairs in the Afternoon. The series was succeeded by Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon in March 2020. The first episode featured cameo appearances by actors Lee Yul-eum and Seo Ji-hoon.
