Toru Masuoka (益岡 徹, Masuoka Tōru) is a Japanese actor born on August 23, 1956, in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. Standing 181 centimeters tall with blood type AB, he completed his education at Waseda University before establishing a prolific career in Japanese film, television series, and television movies.

Acting Career
Masuoka has appeared in a wide variety of film and television productions spanning several decades. His film credits include roles in Yaju-deka (1982), A Taxing Woman 2 (1988), Always: Sunset on Third Street (2005), Space Brothers (2012), Shin Ultraman (2021), and The Boy and the Dog (2025). In addition to his feature film work, he has maintained a strong presence in Japanese television dramas and TV movies, with notable appearances in NHK taiga dramas such as Tobuga Gotoku (1990) and Strategist Kanbe (2014), as well as contemporary series like Naoki Hanzawa (2020) and House of the Owl (2024).
