Too Beautiful to Lie (Korean: 그녀를 믿지 마세요; RR: Geunyeoreul midji maseyo) is a 2004 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Bae Hyeong-Jun. The film stars Kim Ha-Neul and Gang Dong-Won in the lead roles.

Plot

Ju Yeong-Ju (Kim Ha-Neul) is a woman recently released from prison on parole who relies on her skills in deception to navigate life. While traveling by train to her sister's wedding, she encounters Choi Hee-Cheol (Gang Dong-Won), a man planning to propose to his girlfriend. A series of misunderstandings and a theft involving Hee-Cheol's engagement ring lead Yeong-Ju to follow him to his home. Upon her arrival, Hee-Cheol's family mistakenly identifies her as his fiancée. To avoid further legal trouble, Yeong-Ju maintains the ruse, leading to a comedic conflict between her fabricated identity and Hee-Cheol's attempts to clear his name.
